Gostilna Jurček was opened for the first time in 2007. And ever since then, our aim has been to offer our guests authentic local cuisine. As our whole family is involved in the restaurant, you can experience a very special feeling of almost being part it.

Guesthouse Jurček history

The thing that everyone in our family has in common is the restaurant business. Vera and Marjan began their careers in the catering trade in the Rogla resort. After that they worked in the Marinšek Hotel in Naklo na Gorenjskem until they decided to open their own restaurant. That was the beginning of Gostilna Jurček.

The youngest members of the family, Urban and Maša, are also training to work in the catering industry. Urban is attending the Catering College in Maribor, while Maša is studying tourism in Bad Gleichenberg. We all pull together to ensure that all of our guests have a smile on their face.

Accommodation

We are also able to offer our guests overnight accommodation. Our Gostilna is situated in the centre of Zreče, very close to the bus station and also near the Zreče hot springs. In addition, we are only 16 km away from the Rogla ski resort, which offers many different adventures such as the Adrenaline Sledge Run or the Treetops Trail. If you want to spend a holiday (or just one or two days) in a small idyllic town, Gostilna Jurček is the ideal place to stay.

Guests reviews

Whenever we visit you, we are quickly served and nothing remains on the plate. Especially delicious is the mushroom soup. We will return with our friends who also appreciate good food and homey ambience.

On Sunday we were returning from an excursion and stopped. We were served by a young boy, very kind and nice. If we ever get there, we definitely stop again. They have great pizza and I would regret it if I drove by without stopping.

Awesome restaurant! Very well priced. Great food. Huge portions. We were served in impeccable English by a very friendly young man. If we’re ever in the neighborhood again, we’ll certainly revisit. Great outside terras.
