You can find Gostilna Jurček on the green slopes of the Pohorje, very close to the Zreče hot springs. In 2007, we opened our restaurant serving our guests authentic home-made dishes in pleasant surroundings. Various wild mushroom dishes are among the best known from our kitchen. All members of the family (Vera, Marjan, Maša and Urban) ensure that our guests feel happy and very comfortable at our Gostilna.
Vera and Marjan began their careers in the catering trade in the Rogla resort. After that they worked in the Marinšek Hotel in Naklo na Gorenjskem until they decided to open their own restaurant. That was the beginning of Gostilna Jurček. The youngest members of the family, Urban and Maša, are also training to work in the catering industry. Urban is attending the Catering College in Maribor, while Maša is studying tourism in Bad Gleichenberg.
We want to introduce our guests to Slovenian cuisine. Our menu changes all the time, and our restaurant always caters to all culinary tastes.
The quality of the ingredients we use is very important. We always try to use only natural ingredients – that’s why our dishes are so unique and full of flavour.
We use the old recipes from our forefathers and are rediscovering the rich culinary tradition of the Pohorje region, which unfortunately has been somewhat forgotten in recent years.
You can enjoy our food in the indoor dining area or on the covered outdoor terrace in the summer, where there is often a delicious smell of roast suckling pig.
